Bestevaer 55 Morning Haze

Bestevaer 55 Morning Haze

The Morning Haze was custom-built to accommodate the owner's wishes to explore the world seas with a family of four. It is currently the only Bestevaer 55 with a lift keel. Next to the keel box there is a bunk bed for the owner’s two young sons, with the owner’s cabin fore. Compared to the other 55 footers, the pilot house is also longer and does not have a traditional chart table. Under the pilot house there is a technical area on the starboard side and a guest cabin to port. The salon and galley are positioned opposite each other. A very fine addition – especially in cold areas – is the underfloor heating.

Following delivery in 2012, the family of four left for a world voyage aboard their Bestevaer 55 Morning Haze. They first sailed along Europe and North Africa and then crossed over to the Caribbean. The yacht arrived in Canada via the East Coast of the US. Together with friends, the owner sailed the yacht to Greenland and then returned to Europe via Iceland.
